The Tesla Model S is not a vehicle that is lacking, neither aesthetically nor performance wise, but some might still want to get then in cabrio version.
And while the car maker might not provide yet, there are a few out there that do these kind of conversion with a rather impressive result.
Such is the case of NCE (Newport Convertible Engineering) who offers the conversion for takers in both hard an soft top guise. These cost $49.000 and $29.000, respectively, and the end result is a beauty. In fact, the result is so good, it attracted a pretty big client.
While this client is still a mystery, we do know that he hails from China and hired NCE to build no lees than 100 Tesla Model S Cabrio units. The work will start in July, and considering the volume they will have to cope with, they will work not only in their California HQ, but also in Dubai, UAE and Barcelona, Spain.
