Vorsteiner isn’t really an unfamiliar company to Porsche as they had a lot of experience with most of their lineup getting the V-PT treatment.
First came the V-PT Carrera and shortly after we got the 911 Turbo bigger brother so it’s understandable that it took some time till we got this.
The V-PT treatment for the 2011 Porsche Panamera includes a lot of great looking and fun sounding things, neither of which actually help performance.
Appearances for the 2011 Porsche Panamera V-PT are slightly more angular, helpful, but still not really good enough to make us call this car attractive.
After all, a deformed face is going to be ugly no matter how much make up you put on it’s not going to win too many Miss Universe contests is it?
There’s a new front bumper cover, a splitter with a removable carbon fiber insert, new side skirts, a ducktail rear spoiler and rear bumper.
It seems like all the additions, can shave quite a little bit of weight from the car which is always a good thing and it seems like the best part is the optional titanium exhaust.
Once that is installed the difference from a stock setup can reach 40% but let’s not remember that this sort of thing can actually make the car sound like it’s really fast.
