Dodge released full details on the new Dart GT, a sportier alternative based on the standard Dodge Dart Limited.
Set to enter the market this summer, the new Dart GT starts at $20,995 and is motivated by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder unit capable to produce 184 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque.
Acceleration and top speed figures are not available yet, but we do know that the American model is equipped with a standard six-speed manual transmission. Dodge also offers an automatic alternative for the manual gearbox, but it comes at extra price.
“The new Dart GT embodies the best attributes that compact car buyers are looking for, including outstanding style, performance, technology and value,” says Dodge’s CEO.
Styling improvements brought by the carmaker include new front and rear bumpers, a revised front grille and large 18-inch aluminum wheels. Inside, buyers will get an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, part of the Uconnect infotainment system, a heated steering wheel, seats wrapped in Nappa leather and dual-zone automatic climate control.
