As expected, Fiat revealed the new 500C Abarth model at this week’s Los Angeles Auto Show. The sportier variant of the standard Fiat 500C will hit the North American dealerships starting 2013.
Under the hood sits a 1.4-liter MultiAir engine capable to produce 160 horses and 230Nm of torque, making the 0-100 km/h acceleration possible in about seven seconds.

The turbocharged engine is linked to a five-speed manual transmission.

At the exterior, Fiat provides new 16-inch alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires, reworked front and rear bumpers with air vents, a dual-pipe exhaust system, a new rear spoiler, side skirts and a power top.

Inside, the new Fiat 500C Abarth comes with a flat-bottom steering wheel, new sport seats, aluminum pedals and a premium Beats Audio system with six speakers. A high-performance braking system with 11.1-inch rotors improves the safety while a sports suspension and a rear stabilizer bar increase the performance.
