We’ve already talked about the new Mercedes SL Roadster, the new high-performance model of the German company. This time we will see few official videos of the new SL Roadster starting with a highlight film, driving footage and other interesting and innovative features of the vehicle.
“There are around 900 million cars in the world and thousands of models. But there is only a handful of automotive icons,” said Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars.
The US customers will get the new Mercedes SL550 starting next spring being equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 unit offering 429 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 4,5 seconds thanks to a high-performance seven-speed automatic transmission.

As you can see in the third video, Mercedes focuses on the innovative aluminum body of the German car. The new structure ensures rigidity and also lightweight, a perfect combination for sporty car.
“You would struggle to find a car that embodies Gottlieb Daimler’s aspiration more perfectly than our new SL – the best or nothing,” adds Mercedes-Benz.
