The Koreans at Hyundai released photos and details on the 2014 Accent. For the new model year, Hyundai will offer some styling tweaks such as revised headlights with LEDs and revised bumpers.
Inside, the list of standard equipment gets extended with side blind spot mirror, a revised audio system and sliding sun visors. Optional equipment include a power sunroof.
Under the bonnet we will find a 1.6-liter Gamma unit producing 138 horsepower and 166Nm of torque. Official US fuel economy figures are rated at 27mpg (city) and 38mpg (highway).
“Now in its third year of production, the 2014 model-year Accent includes more standard equipment and adds new style and convenience features,” says the carmaker.
Pricing and availability details for the 2014 Hyundai Accent, in both hatchback and sedan variants, will be released in the coming weeks.
