Recently the facelifted Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van has been unveiled, and the German car maker has reason to be proud.

Mercedes is mighty proud of the fact that their Sprinter is the first van in the world that comes with a full range of Euro VI engines.

These engines can produce between 94 Hp and 188 Hp, with four and six cylinder diesel units and even a 1.8 liter supercharged four cylinder natural gas engine fitted with a direct injection system and able to give some 154 Hp. All these engines will me mated with either an Eco-Gear six speed manual or the 7G-Tronic Plus seven speed automatic gear box.

The exterior facelift consists of a redesigned front bumper, grille, hood and headlights while also slightly reducing the vehicle’s ride height. Inside, the Mercedes Sprinter has new upholstery, a thicker steering wheel, a new gearshift knob and two driver’s friends: a better sound system and a Becker Map Pilot navigation system.

The 2014 Mercedes Sprinter also comes equipped with lots of safety features. Besides the standard Crosswind Assist you can also have the optional Collision Prevention Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Highbeam Assist and Lane Keeping Assist.
