The Subaru automaker has brought its powerful WRX STI race car at the 2014 New York International Auto Show, in order to unveil and also to promote it before the Global Rallycross Championship.
The 2015 Subaru WRX STI will be racing at the GRC this fall, but the racing car will not be ready to compete at the first race, opening the 2014 season, on May 18.
But when it will be coming, the Rallycross Subaru will not be sporting the standard rally blue color, but instead it will be wearing a light blue and grey color with some white splotches.
More than that, the Subaru WRX STI will also bear a new body kit, bigger carbon-fiber rear spoiler and the famous Method race wheels, being put on the race car`s Yokohama tires.
To prepare for the 2014 Season, the Subaru will be bringing alongside two 2015 WRS STI Rallycross racers, which will be driven by Bucky Lasek and Sverre Isachsen.
On the other side, the Subaru Rally Team USA will also get their hands on the 2015 WRX STI racers, that will be competing at the Rally America later this year.
