It seems that the 2015 Acura ILX will not be coming with any changes at the body, except for the paintjob, but under the hood, the automaker is rebalancing the situation by putting a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which now develops 150 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque, for the entry-level model.

This is a very major change, as the automaker dropped the original hybrid model, coming with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder unit and electric motor, which developed 144 horsepower, to pack the model with a more powerful unit.

The 2015 Acura ILX entry-level will be costing $27,050, without taking into account the $895 destination fess.
