The Germans at Audi took the all-new R8 sports car to the track for thorough testing at the Nurburgring circuit. The 2015 Audi R8 is said to be powered by a 4.2-liter V8 producing around 430 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque.
A more powerful 5.2-liter V10 with over 525 horses and 530 Nm of torque is also expected. Power will be transferred to the wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The additional power and a lighter body should definitely improve the performance figures but no official details were released yet.
In terms of styling, the new R8 will benefit from tweaked bumpers, a revised front grille, larger air intakes, an active rear spoiler and revised optical blocks.
