Infiniti released pricing details on the 2015 Q70 sedan for the US market. Under the hood, the carmaker offers a 3.7-liter V6 engine producing 330 horses as well as a more powerful 5.6-liter V8 with 420 horses.
A hybrid version using the V6 and a 50 kW electric motor for a total of 360 horses is available as well. The 2015 Infiniti Q70 also comes in a long-wheelbase version.
Dubbed Q70L, the new model has an increased wheelbase of 120,1 inches (+5.9 inches) and a starting price of $51,350. Therefore, the longer model is $1,500 more expensive but offers more space for the passengers.
For Europe, Infiniti plans to reveal the new Q70 this fall at the Paris Motor Show. It will be powered by a 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel borrowed from Mercedes.
It produces 170 horses and 400 Nm of torque. Despite the US model which is currently on sale, its European brother will be available starting December.
