Mercedes-Benz is said to develop a whole new lineup of its SLS AMG, with reports to call back the automaker`s intention on this matter, ever since 2011, with the chances of a new car to be called SLC AMG.
But the Germans from Mercedes-Benz didn’t rest on these intentions, and devised a new sports car, as the one seen in the spy photos below. It is a prototype that the company is testing and that is sharing little with the SLS.
The new car, which bares the code name C190, is rumored to be called AMG GT, and it is targeted for the younger buyers than those folks being more oriented towards the classic SLS.
From the photos, it seems that the AMG GT would sport traditional doors. Under the hood, it would be powered by the AMG-built V-8, mounted up-front. We can`t tell that this is an all-wheel drive, but with the new all-wheel drive love of the BMW, it is possible for the car to have such wheelbase.
A future reveal of the car is expected to be at the second half of 2014 and a convertible version might also be expected.
