The next generation of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is definitely THE one car you want to see at every auto show throughout the year. The 2012 car was a killer at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
Tobias Moers, chief in charge with the AMG division talked about the Black Series. The AMG is a four-cylinder V8 engine, with rear-wheel drive, just like the 4Matic-only AMG models.
The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is considered to be more fun than the E-Class when driving it, as the C-Class is more devoted to “fun-to-drive”, being more of a race car, and sportier with its rear-wheel drive.
Asked if there are any chances to see a Black Series C63 AMG on the roads, Moers responded that there would always be chances of seeing one out in the world. He continues saying that this probability would happen though in a couple of years.
The reason is that the Black Series models are coupes by definition, and one should first wait for the arrival of the standard C-Class Coupes.
Concerning the power that new C63 AMG will sport, there were no official confirmation, but perhaps it will be the up-coming 4.0-liter V8 from AMG. All the details will just have to wait a whole year until they will be completely revealed.
