The Volkswagen`s little sibling Polo model has just arrived in Australia, weearing a new body style and coming available at a cheap 15,990 AUD.
The 2015 Volkswagen Polo in the base entry-level 66 TSI Trendline, costing an affordable 15,990 AUD will compete against the Mazda2, the Toyota Yaris or the Honda Jazz.
The 2015 Polo model will be available in two versions, the base Trendline and the higher Comfortline.
The base entry level will be powered by a 77 TSI unit under the hood, developing 66 kW, between 4,400 rpm and 5,400 rpm and 160 Nm of torque, at 1,400 rpm.
The higher Comfortline will be powered by the 81 TSI unit, with 81 kW and 175 Nm of torque, available as well at 1,400 rpm.
Both trim levels will be hooked to a 5-speed transmission, with also an optional seven-speed dual clutch DSG available.
The 2015 Volkswagen Polo will come with two feature packages, meaning the Driving Comfort package, with climate air-control air-con, auto-dimming rearview rearview mirror, or the city emergency braking, all for an additional 1,500 AUD.
The second package, the Sport package will be also available from 1,500 AUD, coming with lowered suspension system, front fog lights, tire pressure monitoring or the 17-inch alloy wheels.
