Mitsubishi Australia has recently introduced the all-new 2016 Pajero Sport edition, the model coming in three versions, the GLX, GLS and the top of the line Exceed.

The price tags are also announced: the GLX costs $45,000, GLS comes at $48,000 while the topper is available at $52,750.

Mitsubishi speaks very highly of their new Pajero Sport SUV, the model being called “the most technically advanced off-road capable SUV”, which offers “genuine four-wheel drive ability” and “combines the spaciousness and versatility of a full-size SUV.”

From a visual standpoint, the 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport comes with an evolutionary design, complemented by the new “dynamic shield” look at the front. Other features include the LED headlights, as or the 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the model can be has with a plethora of features and safety systems. We can thus mention the 7.0-inch touchscreen media with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, digital radio, keyless entry, push-button start, and so on.

In the engine department, all three versions use the same 2.4-liter turbo diesel unit, with 133 kW and 430 Nm of torque, hooked to the new eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2016 Pajero Sport also comes with four off-road driving modes, like gravel, mud/snow, sand and rock mode, each one being connected to the SUV`s active traction control and automatic shift pattern.
