The German based carmaker has released the latest information on the recently unveiled 2017 Audi A5 and S5 Sportback, both models coming with improved aerodynamics and extraordinary mechanics.

The all-new Audi A5 features sharper lines, with prominent grille and front splitter which improve the car`s overall design lines. As a plus, the S5 adds standout wheel arches, the model being also 17 mm longer than the current version, meaning more space inside for all passengers. The overall cargo space stands at 480 liters.

Inside, the cabin comes with the latest infotainment features, driver assistance and safety features, as well as higher-end materials. Amongst the most important highlights we should include the MMi touch system with 10 GB of media storage, 8.3-inch high-resolution display, wireless Qi smartphone charging, iOS and Android connectivity and so on.

The driver assistance technology include radar-assisted adaptive cruise control, camera, semi-autonomous stop and go with traffic jam assist, collision avoidance, parking assist, turn assist, cross-traffic assist, traffic sign recognition, active lane as well as side assist.

As for the powertrains, the Audi A5 comes with two TFSIs and TDIs engines, with power ranging from 140 kW to 210 kW. A gas version is likely to arrive as well in the form of a 2.0-liter TFSI with 125 kW.

On the other hand, the 2017 Audi S5 Sportback fits a 3.0-liter flat-sic TFSI engine, outputting a good 260 kW and 500 Nm of torque, with a 4.7-seconds run from 0 to 100 km/h.

Both models will arrive in Australia in mid-2017, with the pricing details and other specs to be revealed later on.
