Acura comes back in our attention, this time with the new RDX SUV which goes on sale in the United States. Power is provided by a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 273 horsepower, being linked to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The base version benefits from Keyless Access System, Active Noise Control, Rearview Camera, leather upholstery, heated seats and a power moonrof. Adding the $3,700 Technology Package will bring a satellite navigation system, bi-xenon headlights, front fog lights, larger alloy wheels and dual-zone climate system.
The base Acura RDX starts at $34,520 (excluding an $895 destination fee). Fuel economy figures are rated at 20/28/23 mpg US while the range-topping all-wheel drive variant fitted with the Technology Packager returns figures of 19/27/22 mpg US.
The latter receives a starting price of $39,620, again, excluding the destination fee.
