Acura TLX GT supercar was first displayed at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show at the beginning of this year, with the racecar now ready to challenge the hard competition at the Detroit Grand Prix.
The Acura TLX GT is competing under the RealTime Racing team and will be driven by Peter Cunningham at the event, taking place on May 30 throughout June 1.
The Acura TLX GT is ready to hit the tracks due to the Honda Performance Development team that equipped the racecar with direct-injected twin-turbocharged V6 engine and an all-wheel drive system.
The Acura TLX GT will be facing hard competitors like the Cadillac CTS-V, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911, the Audi R8 LMS and much more.
Even if the Acura has a professional team to back up, it seems very unlikely that it will win the race. However, the automaker has a lot of experience on the tracks with its cars Acura and Honda, and it will do the best to stand in line against its competitors.
Enjoy our short pics with the race car and hopefully we will receive good news with the race car winning the Detroit Grand Prix.
