Alfa Romeo announced plans to introduce special Quadrifoglio Verde editions of the MiTo and Giulietta models. The UK-spec Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde is expected to debut in the Britain next month with prices starting at £28,120 on-the-road.
Standard equipment include 18-inch alloy wheels, a dual-pipe exhaust, a lowered sports suspension and tinted windows. Inside, buyers will get leather and Alcantara seats, aluminum pedals, a 6.5-inch display, bespoke sill plates and a sport steering wheel.
Under the bonnet sits a 1.7-liter 240-horsepower engine which provides a 0-100 km/h sprint in 6 seconds with a top speed of 240 km/h.
A dual-clutch transmission makes sure that the four-cylinder engine delivers the power right to the wheels. Next up is the Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde edition which costs £20,210. It comes with a 1.4-liter 170-horsepower unit, a similar dual-clutch transmission and a 0-100 km/h time of 7,3 seconds.
Top speed is rated at 218 km/h with standard exterior features such as 18-inch alloys, a new rear bumpers and a dual-pipe exhaust. Inside you will find a flat-bottom steering wheel, faux carbon fiber dashboard and sport seats.
