Alfa Romeo’s marketers were caught a bit short on new products to unveil at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show so they improvised something with the lovable 4C Concept.
Since they’re showcasing it in Germany, they went with a specific color to the cars made mostly in this somewhat country.

The Frankfurt-prone special edition of the Alfa Romeo 4C Concept was finished in a special shade of silver the Italians call Fluid Metal.
It looks good, it actually looks quite a lot better than that but in all honesty, it’s not the color’s fault but the original Alfa Romeo 4C Concept, its shapes and lines make the difference.

Either way, even though Alfa Romeo isn’t exactly coming to the German show with something that’s actually new, their stand will definitely be worth watching.
Those visitors that are simply … German, will probably be quite interested in the very tasty sounding 1.75 liter turbocharged four cylinder engine Alfa Romeo places in the middle of the 4C.

With an output of 200 horsepower, connected to a TCT gearbox and very light construction, the upcoming production version of the Alfa Romeo 4C seems to be like more of an engineers dream than it sounds underneath.
Expect some serious details once the actual show gets started but in the mean time just enjoy the pictures.
