My Latin origins just won’t let me ignore some great stuff found within the design that stamps out from Alfa Romeo’s design department.
It happened many times, Alfa Romeo’s cars simply kill any sort of ability I have that’s related to saying no. And in the case of the Alfa Romeo 4C never say never simply does make sense.
I would have never thought that the Alfa Romeo 8C’s smaller brother would actually offer what it does.
Currently my favorite release of the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the Alfa Romeo 4C promises just what many petrolheads around the world want.
A gorgeous Alfa Romeo coupe, a very light car, 1873 lbs to be precise, a great engine (1.750 ccs, direct-injection and turbo) and rear wheel drive.
Apparently, I don’t know a lot about how it handles and how it feels or why on earth it’s only shown with Alfa’s TCT dual-clutch transmission but I just know I love the Alfa Romeo 4c.
Don’t get me wrong, the Alfa TCT gearbox is simply amazing but having a manual tranny sounds like so much more fun.
At the moment, the Alfa Romeo 4C is not much other than a concept but the Italians are seriously considering the possibility of turning it into a production version.
Be still my beating heart, Geneva included this surprise for 2011 and I’m joyfully exploding.
