BMW pulled the wraps off the newest addition in the M range, namely the new BMW M6 which is offered in two flavors: Coupe and Convertible. In terms of power, the German model receives the well-known 4.4-liter V8 unit which fits several high-performance models in the range.
The Coupe version of the new BMW M6 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,2 seconds and hits a limited top speed of 250 km/h. The new BMW M6 Convertible is only 0,1 seconds slower in the 0 – 100 km/h sprint while the top speeds remains the same.
If you want to increase the top speed to 305 km/h you can opt for the M Driver package offered by the German company. BMW also managed to keep the fuel consumption at a decent level with figures of 9,9 liters/100 km for the Coupe and 10,3 liters/100 km for the Convertible variant.
This is a noteworthy achievement considering that the V8 unit offers 10% more power and 30% more torque for a total of 560 horses and 680 Nm of torque.
There are no pricing details at the moment but we will get them next month after the model’s debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
