Lexus releases official information on the 2014 IS sedan, a model which will be seen this month at Detroit. The Japanese luxury model borrows several design cues from the Lexus LF-CC Concept, a model revealed last year at the Paris Motor Show.
While there are still no details about the engine range, we do know that two V6 engines will be offered in North America. We talk about 2.5-liter and 3.5-liter units linked to a new eight-speed automatic transmission.
The higher grade F-Sport model presented in these photos benefits from new front and rear bumpers, larger alloy wheels, a revised front grille and few other minor tweaks.
Inside we find carbon fiber trim, a new steering wheel and sport seats.
Without doubt, full information on the 2014 Lexus IS range will be released next week at Detroit, an event which will host several premieres.
