Here we have, most likely, the last spy photos of the new Audi A3 Cabrio as the Frankfurt Motor Show is just around the corner. We strongly believe that the German open-top model will be shown next month, therefore, let’s take a closer look before its official debut.
At the exterior, the new A3 Cabrio will benefit from a soft-top roof, new front and rear bumpers, revised optical blocks, front grille and new wheels.
It uses the popular MQB platform seen on other models from the group, such as Seat or Skoda.
Power will be provided by a 1.8-liter TFSI with 180 horses, a 2.0-liter TDI producing 150hp and 184hp and other units seen on the sedan.
The new Audi S3 Cabrio is expected to deliver somewhere around 300 horsepower while the more potent RS3 version could get the 2.5-liter 400hp unit.
