Here we have the new Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake, the company’s rival for models such as the 5 Series Touring, XF Sportbreak or A6 Avant.
The German model comes with generous dimensions such as 4,956mm long, 1,881mm wide and 1,413mm tall. Under the bonnet we will find two diesel units, namely a 2.1-liter with 201hp and a more powerful 3.0-liter V6 offering 261 horses.
On the other hand, the petrol range includes a 3.5-liter V6 with 302hp and a range-topping 4.7-liter V8 offering 402 horses.
These engines will be coupled to a seven-speed automatic transmission while certain models such as the CSL 350 CDI and CLS 500 can be fitted with the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system from Mercedes.
Of course, the model will benefit from a high-performance AMG version starting next year, the CLS 63 AMG following to benefit from a 5.5-liter V8 with 530 horsepower.
In terms of styling, the new CLS Shooting Brake comes with a total of five trims and a total luggage space of 1,550 liters with the rear seats folded.
