Audi revealed the first model within their new Ultra lineup, namely the A3 1.6 TDI Ultra. This range is dedicated to the most frugal vehicles, therefore, this diesel-powered A3 is capable of impressive fuel economy figures.
Powered by a 109-horsepower 1.6-liter unit, the A3 Ultra promises figures of 3,2 liters/100km or 73,5mpg US while CO2 emissions are as low as 85 g/km.
The driving range announced by Audi is also impressive as the 50-liter tank will offer more than 1,500 kilometers.
Low rolling resistance tires, an optimized transmission and aerodynamic improvements are just few features that improve the fuel consumption figures. The total mass of just 1,200 kilograms is also a white ball in this situation.
Pricing starts from €25,200 in Germany with first models to hit the showrooms this fall. You can get the new Audi A3 Ultra in both three- and five-door configurations.
