Audi prepared a new eco-friendly model for the Beijing Motor Show, namely the A6 L e-tron concept. The German model is based on the long-wheelbase version of the standard A6 and uses a hybrid powertrain found under the bonnet of the A8 Hybrid.
We talk about a 2.0-liter TFSI engine capable to offer 208 horsepower and an electric motor with 94 horses.

In terms of dimensions, the new A6 L e-tron is 5,02 meters long, 1,87 meters wide and rides a wheelbase of 3,01 meters.

According to the company, the hybrid model is able to run fully electric for about 80 kilometers but only when traveling at a constant speed of 60 km/h.
The lithium-ion battery is located in the rear part of the model and uses a liquid-cooling system.

At the exterior, the A6 L e-tron concept sports large 21-inch alloy wheels, new bumpers, a different front grille and LED headlights.

It remains to be seen if this model has real chances to reach the series production soon.
