SR Auto Group is a tuning company that doesn’t really have a solid reputation in the tuning world but I like their approach and vision that’s found in their products.
What I mean is that I like what the Canadians can do for the tuning enthusiast, basically offer you distinction without completely breaking your back or bank.
Their latest product is the kit they offer for the Audi S5 under the Typhön moniker. Why I like it, you can pretty much see for yourself. They’ve taken a handsome, dignified looking car and made it stand out. Only thing is, they haven’t robbed it of it’s dignity or presence. Open the door of something prepped by Brabus, Senner tuning and many others and you expect some 20 year old to get out, breathing in air and exhaling arogance.
Open the door to something like the Audi S5 Typhön and you expect people with a passion for cars but those who can appreciate most of their factory made value.
What turns the regular Audi S5 into a Typhön model? Well, firstly is that black paint that seems to resist light bouncing off it at any cost. The color is named Leios matte black and it gets along well with the ADV 5.1 wheels in 20 inches of complementary matte ebony.
Underneath it you can find a H&R coilover kit, a tuned ECM, a Milltek downpipe and a sport exhaust. The Reiger carbon fiber aero mods for the front and back complete the equation and voilà you have yourself an Audi S5 Typhön.
