The new A6 Ultra recently unveiled is planned to hit the hot continent somewhere in 2015, as Audi has recently stated in some official reports.
The fresh Audi A6 Ultra will be at the Australians` disposal starting next year, and it will be available in two versions, sedan and wagon (the new Avant), but little it is known about Audi launching both models in Australia.
What we do know for sure, is that the forthcoming A6 Ultra will be sporting the famous seven-speed dual-clutch S-tronic transmission as the standard.
As for the A6 Ultra`s powertrain, under the hood, the luxurious car will be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, developing 120 kW and a peek torque of 400 Nm, between 1,7500 rpm and 3,000 rpm.
The Ultra hits the road from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds in the sedan and 8.5 seconds in the wagon. The consumption of the four-door model is around 4.4 liters/100 km, while the Avant has 4.6 liters/100 km.
More details on both models A6 Ultra, including the options featuring the interior, will be known at the moment of launching.
