I have always admired the two flagships from Hyundai, the Tucson and Santa Fe SUVs, for their exquisite design and aggressive look, making them extremely appealing and increasing their personality.

Recently, the South Korean based carmaker has celebrated 30 years of presence in Australia, a perfect occasion to launch two special editions of the Tucson and Santa Fe.

We are dealing here with the 2016 Hyundai Tucson 30 Special Edition, available at $37,750 and the 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe 30 Special Edition, which costs $40,790.

Only 300 units will be manufactured countrywide, each one coming with exquisite features and fine-tuned mechanics concerning suspension and handling.

The 2016 Hyundai Tucson 30 Special Edition is based on the ActiveX versions and features the Ash Blue exterior, matte side steps, custom rear diffuser, twin-outlet exhaust system and 19-inch RAYS alloy wheels. Under the hood, the SUV packs a 1.6-liter petrol burner, with 130 kW and 265 Nm of torque, hooked to a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission.

On the other hand, the 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe 30 Special Edition is based on the Series II Active version, featuring extra goodies like Mineral Blue metallic exterior, chrome door handles, 19-inch dark grey alloys, rear privacy glass and heated side mirrors.

Performance wise, the special Santa Fe packs a much more potent 3.3-liter MPi V6 engine, with 199 kW and 318 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.

In case you love one of these two gorgeous SUVs, then you should take your cash and go straight to a Hyundai dealer and make your deposit, as all 300 vehicles are expected to be sold very quickly.
