Both the manual and the auto are equipped with the latest technologies on-board, like the 7.0-inch touch-screen interface with plethora of apps, adding Apple CarPlat and Android Auto connectivity, adding other interior tweaks, like sunroof, power driver`s seat with heating , standard paddle shifters, aluminum pedals, sports seats and steering wheel, alloy pedals and more.

Visually, the 2017 Elantra SR Turbo comes with a sporty body styling, highlighted by the HID bi-xenon headlights, custom taillights, 17-inch alloy wheels, adding new mechanical bits such as 25 mm bigger and 2 mm thicker front brake discs, or independent rear suspension setup.

The car`s main highlight remains however the powerful engine under the hood. We are looking here at a 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine, the same found underneath the Veloster SR Turbo, developing 150 kW and 265 Nm of torque.

The engine is hooked to a standard six-speed manual transmission or optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, sending the power to the front axle. Also, the fuel-consumption stands at 7.7L/100 km for the manual and 7.2L/100 km.
