With the last updates carried out more than four years ago, the 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander brings fresh a couple of new changes at the exterior as well as inside. There is also a better driving and improved handling capabilities.

In Australia, the model is offered in three level-trims, the ES, LS and top of the line Exceed, each one being equipped with three engine choices as well.

While at the exterior, the facelifted Outlander comes with a more appealing attitude, thanks to the new design elements (new front bumper bar with revised grille and foglight suround, new rear bumper bar and rear spoiler, or 18-inch alloy wheels), mechanically, the SUV is better handled and driven, thanks to the new characteristics like quicker steering ration enhancing response, and much wider diameter front struts and rear dampers, enabling thus improved comfort while driving. The engine is also quiter, thanks to the new exhaust catalytic converter.

The interior is better refined, due to the higher-quality materials. For instance, passengers are now more relaxed and can enjoy longer rides thanks to the new seat cushioning. Other new elemetns also include a climate vent and USB port added towards the back of the center console, along with an electric park brake for auto variants.

Performance wise, the 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander is equipped with a 2.0-liter petrol burner with 110 kW and 19 Nm of torque, available in the ES version. There is also a 2.4-liter petrol with 124 kW and 220 Nm of torque in the LS while the top of the line Exceed features a 2.2-liter turbo-diesel developing 110 kW and 360 nM of torque.
