The Bentley automaker is certain to change its politics around a hybrid oriented one, since it has already introduced the first plug-in hybrid Mulsanne Hybrid Concept at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show.

Thus, the British company is planning to change the entire model lineup, as all cars will be coming full plug-in hybrid by 2020.

Wolfgang Schreiber, the CEO at Bentley said that the plug-in hybrid concept will change the future of the upcoming Bentley models, along with new technology and performance.

“We are proud to be pioneering these developments in the ultra-luxury sector,” Schreiber also mentioned.

But the company hasn’t offer any real proof of a full-production lineup plug-in hybrid , but rumors already confirmed the existence of an electric motor-generator hooked at the vehicle`s automatic transmission.

More than that, a strong lithium-ion battery will provide the motors with enough power until it will have been recharged from home, with the help of an ordinary power outlet.

Bentley also stated that the plug-in hybrids will be also using a V6-engine or the stock V8, hooked at some electric motors that will increase power with around 25 percent.
