Manhart Racing presented a comprehensive tuning package for the BMW M3 Coupe, a model also known as E92. The German model got a new heart, namely the 4.4-liter V8 engine found under the bonnet of the BMW X6 M.
At the exterior, the German model gets a new look with a orange finish along with carbon fiber hood, front apron, rear wing and rear air diffuser but also new 20-inch Concave One forged wheels with 255/30ZR20 Continental Sport Contact 5 tires.
Inside, the company provides bucket seats, carbon fiber trim, a roll cage for increased safety and a leather steering wheel. However, the most important upgrades are available under the hood where the 4.4-liter V8 borrowed develops 740 horsepower and 910 Nm of torque.
The additional power comes from a new sport exhaust system, racing catalytic converters and a new and larger intercooler.
Manhart Racing used carbon fiber for a dry weight of 1,590 kilograms for a power to weight ratio of 2,12kg per hp. This means impressive performance, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h being possible in 3,2 seconds with a top speed of 350 km/h.
