Whenever we talk about Italian cars, premium craftsmanship may not always be the main topic of discussion. But if there is one thing we can be sure of, is that they almost always have character.
Maserati is a shining example of the passion a car maker can put into the design. And with the more recent iterations like the Ghibli, the bar was raised even higher.
There are few that would try their hand at modifying or improving on the aspect of the Maserati vehicles. Camal Studio proves to be one such adventurer, and has recently released a 3D design of what they envisioned a tribute car would look like.
While the design is bold, the name is sorely lacking in originality. When they set to work, the expected result was a car that had a “strong character with the essential characteristics of quality, comfort and elegance that are typical of Maserati.” In order to achieve this, they drew inspiration from many Maserati models, like the Ghibli, Bora and Khamsin.
Should it ever reach an assembly line, Camal Studio means for the Tributo to be a one-off Maserati, with all the underpinnings of a GranTurismo. But, judging from the renderings, is it really worth of wearing the trident emblem?
