Camouflaged 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom Plays in the Snow
Spy photographers from motor1.com have recently caught on shots the upcoming 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom, the model wrapping a full camouflage and being almost ready for an official unveiling this spring.
The 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom is on a full swing on the snow, the model coming with an evolutionary design, highlighted by the new front fascia with wider grille, rectangular headlights, door-mounted mirrors at the back, along with rear “coach doors” and new C-pillars.
Speaking about design and innovation, Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO at Rolls-Royce has declared that the future Phantom “will be contemporary beautiful”, the all-new Phantom representing “an historic and important moment in automotive history.”
From a mechanical point of view, the 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom will stand on the company`s newest space-frame platform, which will make it extremely light and maintain a “magic-carpet ride” characteristic.
The same space-frame platform will be also used on other new Rolls-Royce models, except for the Phantom Coupe and Phantom Drophead Coupe, which will replace the present Dawn and Wraith versions.
The full specifications concerning the powertrains it will come with are yet unknown, but we should be able to find out more later on, perhaps after the 2016 Geneva Motor Show!
