Chevrolet is very proud of the way their Camaro is doing, selling and most of all, of the upcoming ZL1 version.
Sadly though, the bowtie company has announced the delivery of some sad news regarding the sales expectations of their range topping Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

It’s not that they don’t think the new car will not sell but that they think that most buyers of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will opt for the automatic gearbox.
While it makes us serious petrolheads somewhat sad about finding out that manual gearboxes are fading out even on the most “of the people” of performance cars there’s a good side to the mix.

It is proof of how people, particularly Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 buyers, are getting more and more aware just what sort of progress technology has offered the automatic gearbox.
Chevrolet’s John Fitzpatrick has a less political view on what is going with Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 buyers and that it is the fault of video games.

Thanks to racing simulators and such that emulate paddle shifting gearboxes and the likes, most of the young Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 owners will go with the similar situation behind the wheel.
Us petrolheads will always think of the 6.2 liter supercharged V8 making 580 horsepower and 556 lb-ft of torque are better enjoyed in conjunction with the Tremec TR-6060 6 speed manual transmission.
