This is something to think about that nobody ever thought would come to attention of the world, the US market or even GM’s rivals.
Starting this week General Motors has been announcing how they are about to introduce a new pickup truck to the American market under the Chevrolet brand.
The weird thing about that is that this particular pickup, the 2013 Chevrolet Colorado, is only new in America as it’s already been available in other markets.
Chris Perry, vice president, global marketing and strategy for Chevrolet claims that the 2013 Colorado is quite the ideal pickup for the job.
It should fare well in the U.S. since the pickup truck market is ready for a machine with its capabilities. While most would be pleased by the looks it’s what’s underneath that matters.
The Thai sensation that is the 2013 Chevrolet Colorado has recently been praised for its practicality, no non-sense styling and remarkable fuel economy.
All these points are running in the favor of the 2013 Chevrolet Colorado’s offering to the U.S. market except GM isn’t very keen on telling us what powertrain options are going to be available.
Regardless of the choice in powertrains the 2013 Chevrolet Colorado should have an easy life in this size segment of the market.
