It’s a while now since we stopped being surprised at the vehicles the Dubai police department add to the car pool.
The latest beast to join in is a Brabus prepped 700 Hp Mercedes-Benz G-Class, and it should fit right in with the rest of the fleet.
Brought into the Dubai Motor Show, the car was quick to impress the locals, with the G63 AMG being fitted with Brabus’ own B63S 700 kit. The power is churned out of a 5.5 liter twin turbo V8, and besides the power upgrade, the kit also contains new dynamic suspensions and new looks thanks to a body kit.
The improvements propel the big Merc to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, ultimately topping at 240 km/h. While a bit slower that the rest of the Dubai Police star attractions, the numbers are quite impressive for a big bulky machine like the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
With the Police force still struggling to get their hands on a Bugatti Veyron, they grab pretty much anything that strikes their fancy meanwhile.
