After the Ferrari launched the 458 Speciale Aperta at the 2014 Paris Motor Show just a few days ago, the Italian carmaker has already released the first promotional video with the supercar.
The Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta is the convertible variant of the 458 Speciale and the video highlights the sports car`s body style, interior and performance under the hood.
First off, the Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta is wearing an aluminum retractable hard top, opening and closing in just 14 seconds, while riding at high-speed on 5-spoke Grigio Corsa alloy wheels.
While at the exterior, the Speciale Aperta has been described as the “most aerodynamically efficient Ferrari spider ever,” under the hood, things are also swell.
We are talking about a 4.5-liter V8 naturally aspirated unit, also found on the 458 Italia and 458 Spider.
The unit develops 605 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque, with the supercar reaching the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 3 seconds, just like the roofed 458 Speciale.
The company also stated that the Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta will be manufactured in only 499 units, with prices to be revealed later on. Meanwhile, sit back and enjoy the video!
