Ferrari’s most recent and most exciting launch involved, surprisingly, a car. That car was called the 458 Spider and it just got a new way to interact with us.
The Italian company launched an online configurator for its open top version of the glorious Ferrari 458 Coupe. You can now grab a closer look at it without gazing weirdly in public.
Apart from that you can go about the pretty buttons and customize the Ferrari 458 to a level you wouldn’t think is possible on such a car.
In the olden days and actually not that wrong ago, buying a Ferrari would mean you were limited to selecting one of some six or seven colors and very little options for the interior.
With the 458 Spider however you can have your pick between a wide variety of colors, five types of wheels, several carbon fiber components and plenty of other options worth looking into.
The interior can be configured with a single color for the leather, a dual tone setup or even an Alcantara mix can be opted for.
The Ferrari 458 Spider’s configurator shows us that there’s plenty of color options even for the seat belts, stitching and so on.
In terms of easy living methods, there’s plenty of electronics you can opt for. Be them full electric seats, rear view cameras, cruise control systems and premium sound systems as well.
Overall, the Ferrari 458 Spider doesn’t really need any of this garnish and I doubt that many of the people buying it will need the configurator, but it’s a nice treat for us mere mortals.
