If you’re more of a Ferrari fan than average or more of a Car show fan than average than you most certainly have head of James Glickenhaus.
Glickenhaus is a former entertainment money maker turned into a financial guru with a passion for cars. His passion mostly is focused on rare or unique vehicles.
Among his collection, possibly the most famous unit out there is the Ferrari P4/5, a car based on the Ferrari Enzo that looks like the Scuderia’s racing cars from a very long time ago.
The Ferrari P4/5 is quite an achievement so Glick decided he could do better. This is why he chose to contract the Italians for a bit a new edition. That’s how the Ferrari P4/5 Competizione was born. What we have here may look a lot like the Ferrari P4/5 but underneath these are two different beasts.
Whereas one is based on the Ferrari Enzo, the Competizione is based on the F430 Scuderia. That posts two advantages, the P4/5 is now smaller and relatively lighter and also, the Scuderia is faster round the Ferrari test track than the Enzo was.
In these conditions, it’s pretty mouthwatering to think about how the Ferrari P4/5 Competizione will perform on the track once it’s completed. For now, it’s been spotted having a bit of a leg stretching, a warm up heat in its natural playing field.
