Fiat released new details and photos on the 500X, a model seen for the first time at the Paris Motor Show this fall. Besides the additional images, we get to know all the details regarding the line-up and other equipment.
You can get the new Fiat 500X in either a standard version with three trim levels (Pop, Popstar and Lounge) but also in a more rugged variant with Cross and Cross Plus grades.
Under the hood expect an entry-level 1.4-liter Turbo MultiAir II engine producing 140 horsepower as well as a 1.6-liter MultiJet II 120hp engine and a 2.0-liter MultiJet II 140hp unit.
The latter benefits from an all-wheel drive system and a new nine-speed automatic gearbox. Other engines such s a 1.4-liter MultiAir II with 170hp, a 1.6-liter E-torQ with 110hp and a 2.4-liter Tigershark producing 184 horses will enter the range latter.
If you are looking for a more frugal diesel, there’s a 1.3-liter MultiJet II with 95 horses and a more potent 2.0-liter MultiJet II with 140 horsepower.
