Fiat released official pricing for the new 500e in the United States. The electric version of the Italian supermini hits the North American continent with a starting price of $32,500 while customers in California benefit from an even more attractive price of $20,500.
Under the bonnet we find an electric motor producing 111 horsepower and 200Nm of torque for a top speed of 137 km/h and a driving range of 140 kilometers. Fuel economy ratings are rated at 122 MPGe (city) and 108 MPGe (highway).
Fiat also offers the new model with a 3-year lease for $199 per month and with a $999 fee at the beginning.
“FIAT Brand North America is helping to make it easy for California residents to purchase or lease the all-new 2013 Fiat 500e when the electric vehicle (EV) goes on sale in the Golden State this summer,” says the company.
Now it is up to you if you consider buying the zero-emission 500 or you opt for the standard model.
