With Europe bouncing back from the economic crisis, the car making industry is welcoming a new wave of sales increase.
And any manufacturer that managed to throw in a good new model is going to cash in big.

Ford is one such car maker that managed to grossly underestimate sales figures for their new Fiesta ST model in Europe. Initially they planed to build just 5.000 units for the model’s first year, but incoming orders were closer to double that amount.
It seems the US manufacturer hit it big with their hot hatch, especially in the British isles. Their orders come close to 3.000 units, which have already been paid for. The Ford Fiesta ST was largely ordered in either Molten Orange or Spirit Blue paints, with the ST2 trim level being most popular.

In order to keep up with demand, Ford is upping their production by 15 percent or about 60 additional units each day.
