Top Gear was the first show to really publicize the idea that the next generation of the Ford Mondeo will look like the American Ford Taurus.
It made sense since Ford is trying to be an ever more global brand and the new Taurus looks so much like a follow-up to its European brother.

Since people got word of the idea and since a replacement for the Mondeo is expected quite soon, the current one is beginning to lose sales pace.
Thankfully, the tuning community is here to encourage people to get themselves a brand new Ford Mondeo. Loder1899 for example have already showcased what they offer.
They will start by offering a set of new alloy wheels ranging between 18 and 20 inches depending on how much of a spine test you want.

Trust me, it is a spine test since the German tuner also offers a new suspension package which comes with a 35 mm lowering kit.
In order to distract from the unpleasant experience, Loder1899 fit the Ford Mondeo with a ground effects kit including a new front lip spoiler, a rear diffuser and side skirts.
The engine gets a bit of a treat, even if it is the diesel one.

The 2.2 liter TRDCI turbo diesel engine gets upgraded from 200 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque to 244 horsepower and 361 lb-ft.
A new stainless steel sports exhaust finishes off the package and to let people know your oil burner has some extra grunt.
