How much more than proud can you be of General Motors coming back from the coma they fell into before the U.S. Government bailout?
I don’t really know the answer to this, however if I were American i’d be slightly disappointed to find out that the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu will be built in Korea, at Bupyeong.
Subsequently sold there as well, Koreans sort of predicted something like this since part of Chevrolet’s lineup is built on previous work from Daewoo.
With production being handled by the Koreans, the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu their country will actually be the first market it will be available on.
The American market on the other hand will have to do something it’s not really keen on and wait for it.
Before the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu will be sold in America it will have to be produced and sold in China, at the Jingjiao facility.
Once these two markets are covered for sometime by the end of 2011 and Fairfax, Kansas and Detroit-Hamtramck will shift into overdrive having the U.S. consumers ready to buy one in 2012.
Focusing on the Korean market it seems like General Motors has claims about how they are interested in the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu.
This is particularly interesting since the Chevrolet Malibu was never sold in Korea, at all.
