Hennessey announced a more powerful Venom F5 which will be able to hit a top speed of 290 mph or 466 km/h. The massive 7.0-liter V8 powerplant, which now delivers 1,244 horsepower, will receive a boost to over 1,400 horses.
The company will focus on weight savings and revised aerodynamics in order to achieve their goal.

Interestingly, the Hennessey Venom F5 will use a six-speed manual transmission as it is lighter and more durable than an automatic gearbox. A single-clutch paddle-shift gearbox will be offered as well by Hennessey.

The high-performance model will also feature a special traction control system which uses GPS in order to adapt for certain circuits in order to improve performance.

With a starting price of over 1,2 million, the new Hennessey Venom F5 will be introduced next year with a limited run of around 30 cars to be offered.
