With the Hyundai i20 revealed last month in some slight details and first pictures, now the automaker has released more info with the upcoming B segment model for Europe.
First, the Hyundai i20 will be standing on a wheelbase of 2,570 mm, being 4,035 mm long, with a 1,892 mm rear legroom and 320 liters in the trunk.
Inside, new pictures with the Hyundai i20 reveal a two-tone ambiance and some high-end materials, being regarded as the best interior in the B-segment.
Christian Loer, the head of product management at Hyundai Motor Europe said that the “the dash and the door materials are the first a potential customer touches after the steering wheel, so these need to be good quality and, most importantly, soft.”
Under the hood, the Hyundai i20 will be coming with an engine lineup, consisting of two gasoline and two diesel engines.
We are talking about a 1.25-liter with power to range between 75 HP and 84 HP, hooked to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the largest 1.4-liter gasoline unit, develops 100 horsepower.
The 1.1-liter and the higher 1.4-liter diesel units, develop 75 horsepower and respectively 90 horsepower, both hooked to a six-speed manual gearbox.
