The Japanese people from Isuzu introduced the new MU-X, a model which starts from 40,500 AUD in Australia. At the exterior, the new Isuzu MU-X gets revised bumpers, extended wheel arches and other features from the D-MAX.
Power is offered by a 3.0-liter turbodiesel unit producing 174 horsepower and 380Nm of torque. You can pair this powertrain with a standard five-speed manual transmission or a similar automatic unit with sequential shift.
Inside, buyers will get high quality materials, new trim, iPod connectivity, 10-inch displays part of the infotainment system and Sky Sound system for higher-spec versions.
“All 4×4 MU-X models are also equipped with Isuzu’s super-easy to use “Terrain command” 4WD select dial,” says the company.
According to Isuzu, the new model is available in either 4×2 or 4×4 configurations, several safety systems such as hill ascent and hill descent control being offered as well.
